  Cloudability is the leading service used to optimize and analyze AWS and other cloud spend. Built the foundation of the internal and external API using Javascript and Node.js which improved performance and reliability. Built a Java service to provide the API with User, View and Authorization information from a SQL DB. Setup microservices in the development and staging environments using Docker Swarm, allowing us to onboard new engineers faster, deploy easier and to have a more reliable distributed system. Implemented a metrics tracking system on the API to monitor requests, store metrics data and display a metrics dashboard of the whole distributed system.

  DataHero is a self-service cloud data visualization company. Created a new onboarding flow using React.js that improved success rates by 30%. Built streaming data ingest engines to connect to Google Analytics and Hubspot's APIs. Used Docker to improve the development and deployment processes. Built pieces of the API using Node.js.

  Brilliant is a Social+Capital backed education startup. Led a charge that decreased average page load times by 40%. Implemented Require.js on a 3 year old codebase that relied heavily on global scope. Implemented a gamified social sharing framework using Facebook's Open Graph API that helped the product grow from under 200k users to over 1 million. Used Python on Django to help build the backend.

Led a team of 5 to build the industry leading 401k data processing, recommendation and data visualization tool on behalf of XRM's largest customer, 401k Advisors Inc. Led a team of 3 to customize Microsoft's CRM software for Paramount Pictures which allowed them to better communicate with their divisions around the world. Primarily programmed using C# and SQL.
